When people say good God he is real It's usually much more than he exists somewhere out there. It's an expression that we use when God enters into where we live. It might be an answer to prayer, a moment of 
recognition, It might be the love that one brother extends to another brother.
Real in this sense is not just existence but presence . When we planned for The God Course we didn't do it just to prove God exists but also to show how faithful God is when conditions are met. As I say often - A promise is just a conditional prophecy. See fulfilled prophecies? That's what God will do for His promises to you if you are faithful. In the end though, all his promises can be summarized as Him entering ALL the areas of our life - or to put it another way- becoming real and near.
To be clear in the history of the Bible that has come at a price. Moses tended goats for 40 years. All the apostles lived as second class citizens in their own country for nearly three decades - with Jesus just a stone's throw away in Nazareth. Because of the Lord's sacrifice it doesn't take that long for Him to be in our lives but even he says we need to abide persevere and forsake ourself.
It's our hope and our dream that this little sliver of the Internet is a community that helps all of US find where God enters into all of areas of OUR lives. As His child WE want to feel his presence when we're singing , reading the Bible and worshipping. However WE also live on the job, enjoy the arts and entertainment, look at God's creation and fellowship with friends and family. Wherever WE live WE want to have moments in all those activities where we say "good God he is real". Its WE and US because unlike some other ministries there's no pastor types here. We are on that journey with all the ups and down. If you are looking for a Moses and Joshua to lead you to the promise land they are somewhere else . We are just walking our goats next to you - if we push along we'll get our moment looking at the glory. That's plenty for the likes of me.
Theres a flip side to our personal wants and benefits of this God is present thing. Real in the social sense of our world is being relevant, demonstrably true, Meaningful and life changing to the world (not all of it because "the way" will always be narrow). We wish for an apologetics that YES embraces the rationale but also excites the heart and changes intent and attitudes in the world.
